As a photography expert, the tree on the right doesn't have any unnatural distortion, it is just the way that the leaves fall that gives a round appearance, also, the grass in the bottom has a flattened appearance, like some large object went over it, giving the ''fish eye lens'' illusion, but on the top left corner everything seems perfect, also if there was a fish eye lens being used, the geometry of the tractor and the leaves, as well as the snake would be distorted. The image does have some play with the eye, this is because of perspective, the man is about 6 to 10 feet away from the head of the snake and yes, the scoop seems big in size because it is closer to you, the viewer than the actual cabin. The thing is, we don't actually know how heavy or big the bottom of the tractor is, it shows only one third of it. And it's china, everything is bootlegged there.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01330802347852655921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5476713758851257442.post-58760825066757266382011-01-20T23:57:39.461-08:002011-01-20T23:57:39.461-08:00My uncle worked in deep forest of Celebes and Born...My uncle worked in deep forest of Celebes and Borneo islands of Indonesia. He said that there are still exist those giant Phyton species. He had dealt with some huge snakes and his team killed one of them using bulldozer. There are still many of them in Borneo.ArDhttp://www.gogetanimation.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5476713758851257442.post-65069337476577649012010-10-07T08:20:41.382-07:002010-10-07T08:20:41.382-07:00from my perspective , this specimen is definitely ...from my perspective , this specimen is definitely less than 25ft.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5476713758851257442.post-79593530708636416682010-08-20T13:00:23.040-07:002010-08-20T13:00:23.040-07:00niceniceJonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5476713758851257442.post-10766829679936387762010-07-28T21:42:01.512-07:002010-07-28T21:42:01.512-07:00Thanks for your brilliant post! Even with the different style camera len suggested for the capture of this photograph, Max's point is still correct with the measurements. THE PHOTO WAS TAKEN IN THE SAME MANNER AS A LOT OF PROFESSIONAL (CELEB) FISHERMAN USE. IF YOU HOLD THE FISH IN YOUR HANDS, OUT, AWAY FROM YOUR BODY, THEN TAKE THE PICTURE, IT APPEARS TO BE A MUCH LARGER FISH THAN IT IS. BASIC VISIUAL DECEPTION. I BELIEVE THIS PHOTO WAS TAKEN JUST BECAUSE THEY CAME UPON THE SNAKE/SNAKES, REVIEWED THE PHOTO AND THOUGHT "WOW, IT LOOKS LARGER THAN IT REALLY WAS, LETS START SOMETHING". JUST MY OPINION. BASED ON MY TRAINING AND EXPERIENCEAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
